MIDDLETON TAKES THIRD PODIUM OF 2020 AT ROAD ATLANTA

British Racing Drivers’ Club ‘Rising Star’ Stuart Middleton claimed his third outright podium of the 2020 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season at Road Atlanta in Georgia over the weekend, 5th/6th September, with a top three finish in round five of the campaign.

Once again entering new territory, having never previously visited the 2.54-mile track, Middleton quickly got up to speed in the No.1 Prestige Performance with Wayne Taylor Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 car and produced strong performances despite some issues with straight-line speed.

Along with the third-place result in the opening race on Saturday, the Lamborghini Squadra Corse Young Driver Programme racer and team-mate Stevan McAleer also added fifth overall and third in class in round six on Sunday.

California’s world-famous Laguna Seca Raceway will host the penultimate event of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season on Saturday, 31st October, and Sunday, 1st November.
