P4 for Bartholomew in final race at Vallelunga
The final round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship took place at Vallelunga, 32km north of Rome.
Qualifying took place on Saturday with Jack setting the fastest time of the 3-driver crew in his Imperiale Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3. With all three driver’s times amalgamated it gave the #16 Lamborghini a grid spot of P6 overall for Sunday’s 2 hour endurance race.
The race started at midday on Sunday and the team opted to put Jack in the car for the final stint of 50 minutes. With both his teammates having driven for 35 minutes the #16 pitted in 13th position overall and Jack took over for the final stint. By lap 48 jack was now in P8 and setting his fastest laps and pushing to make up positions. With the clocking ticking down Jack had managed to bring the car up to P4 in the Pro-Am class as the chequered flag waved to end the race.
In his first season of the Italian GT Endurance Championship Jack scored points in every round and finished in P4 in the Pro-Am class final standings.
